Leading US companies seem to want to jettison 3G and move to 5G. Although Canadian biggies have no stellar record of being anywhere near the leading edge of technology, surely Canadians are not going to be left so far behind?  But I have read it will be easy for them to drop 3G as it really is a throttled form of 4G. Any truth to that?

Hi Simi. Lucky Mobile still hasn't announced anything regarding phasing out 3G. Though Bell (their network) announced phasing it out on late 2025.
