A no-frills flip phone for the traditionalist that focuses on value over high performance, and has a very slim profile when closed. In most ways, LG's 4010 is a classic business model, except that it has no provision for e-mail. If games and themes are your thing, or you use a mobile to check your e-mail, this is probably not the phone for you. On the other hand, if you want a handset that fits neatly in your pocket, and performs decently, you've found a good match.
The 4010 has a large grayscale display that provides crisp graphics but no color, and its Web browsing capability is perfectly adequate. Transferring data from a 4010 to a laptop or desktop computer is supported. The phone features a single installed game, Blackjack, but no provision for downloading new games. Just about the only luxury featured is the capability to download polyphonic ringtones, and hear them in high-quality 40-chord audio. In keeping with its niche, the handset's appearance is sleek and corporate, with sharp angles and a silver finish.
