Originally scheduled for an IFA 2012 unveiling, the Acer Liquid Gallant and Liquid Gallant Duo have just been officially launched, with the former getting released to market shortly after the latter does this coming September. These two smartphones are practically one and the same, except for the fact that the Liquid Gallant Duo supports dual-SIM technology. Both devices feature a 1GHz single-core MTK6575 processor, 1GB of RAM, a qHD 4.3-inch touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel main camera and 1500 mAh battery. The default operating system on both is Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.
What Else You Need To Know:
- An interesting design quirk is present in the two models: the power button is located at the back, right next to the camera.
- Both the Acer Liquid Gallant and Liquid Gallant Duo come with a 9.9mm thin profile.
- Standard wireless features include GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi.
