Acer is set to release the V360, its first smartphone with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The device features decent but not mind-blowing specs: 4.5-inch qHD display, 3G, MP camera, VGA front-facing camera, and a dual-core 1GHz processor. Available in back and white, the device is expected to cost around $300 contract-free, which is less than half the price of the $649 high-end iPhone 5.

- Acer's previous smartphone offerings this year had Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as operating system.
