Yet another Windows Phone-powered handset has shown itself in the form of the Alcatel One Touch View, which is said to be a 4-inch touchscreen-equipped smartphone powered by Microsoft's Windows Phone 7.8 OS. It features a 1GHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, Wi-Fi connectivity, a 1,500 mAh battery, and support for 3G wireless data. It is expected to become available before the end of this year starting at $250, which is on par with the prices of most mid-range Android smartphones nowadays.

- Alcatel joins the likes of Nokia, Samsung, and HTC in making devices powered by Microsoft's Windows Phone operating system.
