As of this writing, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates are already available for users of three different Sony Xperia handsets. These are the Sony Xperia U, Xperia Sola, and Xperia Go. The ICS software can be acquired through an over-the-air (OTA) update as part of an ongoing rollout starting now through the next few weeks. Ultimately, the actual availability may vary based on a user's carrier and country.

- The ICS update for the Sony Xperia Sola will being a new feature called Glove Mode, which is a way of making the onboard floating touch technology more useful.
