The long wait for the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphone is over. Starting today, users of the said Samsung smartphone can expect to receive a notification that will allow them to upgrade their handsets from Ice Cream Sandwich to the latest version of the Android software. At the moment, it seems only Verizon in the US hasn't released an update for its own Galaxy Nexus smartphones yet.
