Apple has officially confirmed via press release that it will release its new Retina display iPad on Friday March 16th at 8:00 AM in Canada, the United States and 8 other countries including Australia, France, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Switzerland.
Apple also used the press release to announce that customers who buy the new iPad at an Apple retail store can receive a free Personal Setup service which will help with email setup, app loading and other device setup.
