Archos took the opportunity to do a quick preview of one of its upcoming devices on its Facebook page by posting a mere picture and no accompanying info whatsoever other than a name. It did mention that this mysterious device, currently referred to as the Gen 10 (G10), is set to be launched officially "in three weeks," however. This could mean that an announcement is due around the same time as this year's IFA in Berlin. It looks like it's going to be marketed as a high-end Android tablet, judging from the looks of it. It also looks like it is running Android 4.0 ICS, at least. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is also in the cards, but that's not a sure bet right now.
What Else You Need To Know:
- The view from what looks like the bottom of the Archos Gen 10 tablet shows what appears to be a proprietary port, which could mean that it will come with a compatible keyboard dock.
