Asus has just sent out official press invites to the upcoming Padfone 2 launch event, which is schedule to happen on October 16th. The events are going to be held in Milan, Italy, and Taipei, Taiwan, on the exact same day. Asus chose not to provide any other details about the launch event in order to keep most of it a secret. Still, the most important bit about the Padfone 2 is known, and that is the fact that it will be an update to the company's very first smartphone/tablet/laptop hybrid.
What Else You Need To Know
- There is ongoing speculation that the Padfone 2 will arrive equipped with a quad-core CPU from Qualcomm and major improvements over its predecessor all around.
