ASUS Transformer Pad TF300TL Now With LTE

ASUS's Transformer Pad, the tablet that can be turned to a laptop with its mobile dock, will have an LTE version soon, at least in Germany. The successor to the Transformer Prime, the world's first quad-core tablet, has a 10.1 inch display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core CPU, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. The ASUS Transformer Pad TF300TL runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but can be updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean later on. The tablet will retail for 629 euros, or 529 euros without a dock.

- The mobile dock, aside from turning the tablet into a laptop, gives additional battery life.

- Samsung and RIM have announced 4G versions of their flagship tablets.
