The Windows-powered Asus VivoTab RT is set to become available through AT&T this friday, November 16th, for $499 with a new two-year contract. It's available as part of a special holiday promotion so AT&T urges those who are thinking of buying to go and purchase it now. Buyers can also buy it at $100 off if they get a new Windows Phone handset and sign up for yet another two-year contract with it. It comes pre-loaded with Microsoft's Windows RT software, a mobile-only version of Windows 8 that runs on ARM-based hardware.
What Else You Need To Know
- The Asus VivoTab RT features a 10.1-inch 1366x768 touchscreen display, 2GB of RAM, and a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor.
- A compatible keyboard dock works with the VivoTab RT to give it a hardware keyboard, two full-size USB ports, and extended battery life.
