AT&T announced that it will offer the LG Optimus G Pro smartphone for $199.99 with a new two-year contract. The device features a massive 5.5-inch display, a powerful quad-core Qualcomm processor, and other high-end specs including eye-recognition software. Preorders for the Optimus G Pro begin May 3 and it will reach stores on May 10. This handset will also be eligible for purchase under the recently announced AT&T trade-in program, which basically means that if you have a handset to trade - you could get the Optimus G Pro for half price.

- Optimus G Pro touts a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 2.1-megapixel shooter on the front, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, 4G LTE connectivity, and a removable 3,140mAh battery that supports wireless charging.
- Software tweaks in the Android Jelly Bean-running device also include dual recording (allows video to be recorded with the front and rear cameras simultaneously), virtual reality panorama (turns shots into 360 degree images), and VuTalk (lets users talk on the phone and simultaneously write on a virtual notepad.
