AT&T issues price cut to bring HTC One X down to $99 USD a piece
Other

What started out as a rumor is now a 100% certified fact. AT&T has decided to cut the price of the Android-powered HTC One X smartphone and let users take it home for only $99 USD a pop. The price cut is said to be a limited time offer that's being pushed forward as a back-to-school promotion, so if you want to be among those who benefit from it, then you better act fast. The sub-$100 price point is compelling enough, but it's worth knowing that those who buy are required to sign up for a new 2-year contract. Whether or not the price cut makes the HTC One X worth buying at $99 is something that you may or may not have to deliberate upon.

What Else You Need To Know:

- The One X is HTC's current flagship Android device and boasts plenty of high-end features such as a 4.7-inch Super IPS touchscreen display, 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Krait processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and LTE data.

- HTC is currently working on giving One X users a free upgrade from Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

- AT&T did a similar move recently in cooperation with Nokia to bring the price down on its Lumia offerings.
