Due to the wave of destruction brought upon New York City and other regions in the U.S. by Hurricane Sandy, T-Mobile and AT&T have teamed up to offer communications in affected areas with absolutely no roaming fees or plan charges as cellular services are being brought back to life. A recent report from the FCC states that 25 percent of all cellular services have been knocked out by the storm. It isn't clear when everything will be back to normal, but for now the two U.S. carriers are committed to lend a helping hand to all those who need it.
