Belkin has just announced the availability of the world's first official third-party Lightning accessories for users of the iPod touch, iPad 4, iPad mini, and iPhone 5. The first one is a Charge + Sync dock for table tops and the other one is a hardwired car charger. Both are priced at $29.99. These new accessories are already available for pre-order and will start shipping some time in mid-November of this year.

- Belkin was also the first one to market official 30-pin connector accessories nearly 10 years back.
- Apple introduced a new dock connector called Lightning to replace the 30-pin connector when it launched the iPhone 5.
