Bell launches LTE in Windsor, Red Deer, Whistler, and other areas

Bell continues its stated plan of further expanding 4G LTE network coverage for customers across Canada through the rest of 2012. This time, the Canadian carrier's LTE network spread westward to cover customers in several new locations in Alberta and British Columbia. The list of newly covered locations include the following: Windsor, ON; Brooks, AB; Grande Prairie, AB; Lloydminster, AB; Red Deer, AB; Taber, AB; Duncan, BC; Kamloops, BC; Ladysmith/Nanaimo/Parksville, BC; Pemberton, BC; Squamish, BC; Vernon/Salmon Arm, BC; and Whistler, BC.

  • Bell now offers LTE network coverage to 20 million Canadians, up from 17 million in the first week of September.
