The company formerly known as Research In Motion says it has hit the 100,000 app milestone for the BlackBerry 10. BlackBerry said that number of apps for the redesigned and reinvented BlackBerry platform grew by more than 30,000 in the last seven weeks, indicating an "outstanding" response. Recent additions at apps marketplace BlackBerry World include The Wall Street Journal, gas station locator Open GasBuddy, camera app Vignette, top e-book reader Amazon Kindle and restaurant reservation system Open Table. In the coming weeks, there'll be CNN, The Daily Show Headlines, eBay, eMusic, Maxim, MLB at Bat, MTV News, Pageonce, PGA, Rdio, Skype, Soundhound and Viber.
