The next-generation smarpthones seen to make or break troubled Research In Motion are nearing arrival. Leaked photos show a BlackBerry 10 L-Series phone that has a sleek design, doesn't have a home button, NFC technology embedded in the rear cover, and a 1800mAh battery. Just days ago RIM updated its landing page for BlackBerry 10 providing a sneak peak of the new smartphone. The BlackBerry 10 phones, which have been delayed for several times, are expected to be released in the early part of 2013.
What Else You Need To Know
- The Canadian device-maker hasn't released a new smartphone since April 2012.
- BlackBerry devices used to lead the market for high-end phones but saw a steep decline in the past three years due to competition from Android phones and Apple's iPhone.
