BlackBerry Not Giving Up on Tablets; PlayBooks to Get BB10
Pocketnow

BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins confirmed at the BlackBerry 10 event that all existing 7-inch and 10-inch BlackBerry PlayBooks would receive a BlackBerry 10 operating system update. As for future tablets, Heins acknowledged that plans are not yet cast in stone by saying, "We are looking for specific value added services on top of the tablet." At the BB10 launch event January 30th, BlackBerry didn't unveil a new tablet, only launching the all-touch 4.2-inch Z10 smartphone and the QWERTY-endowed Q10 handset.
