ZTE is adding the Avid 4G to its wide portfolio of affordable Android phones. Available for only $149 contract-free at MetroPCS, the ZTE Avid 4G features a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, a "crystal-clear" 4-inch touchscreen, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system 5MP rear-facing camera, VGA front-facing camera, and LTE connectivity.
What Else You Need To Know
- The device is eligible for use with MetroPCS's 4G service plans, which is being offered at a reduced rate of $30 to $55 per month.
- Soon to be acquired by T-Mobile, MetroPCS has been recently beefing up its handset lineup, adding the Samsung Galaxy Admire 4G and the Samsung Galaxy S3.
