Facebook Home has hit more than 500,000 downloads, less than two weeks since the service launched on Google Play on April 12. The milestone is impressive since the Facebook-centric launcher works only on less than a dozen devices, which include the HTC One X, HTC One X+, HTC First, the Samsung Galaxy S3, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. The customer overlay needs improvement though as it currently is saddled with a user rating of 2.2 stars; and many users have noted that they've already uninstalled it.
What Else You Need To Know
- Aside from complaining of too much Facebook, many users are apparently turned off by the uptick in data usage and increased battery drain caused by the Home UI, as well as the lack of widgets and customization options.
