Google celebrates 25 billion milestone with $0.25 app sale on Google Play

Google Play recently hit the 25 billion download mark, and to celebrate, Google is holding a special discount sale for apps, books, movies, music, and magazines. Currently, there are over 675,000 apps available for download from Google Play. And starting today, a small selection of those apps will be available for only $0.25 each. These apps include games, office apps, and even fitness apps. Google's promo also applies to a selection of must-see movies, banned books, and best-selling magazines.

What Else You Need To Know

  • Google's promotion for music, movies, books, and magazines, is only available to Android users in the US. If you're outside of the US and try to access the sale pages on Google Play, you may see a notification that says the content is not available in your country.
