Google's latest flagship smartphone, the LG Nexus 4, apparently lacks USB-on-the-go support and doesn't work with any external devices whatsoever no matter what kind. There are some reports saying that this is only normal since it's a Google-branded Nexus device, but for it to lack such a simple feature as part of what is supposed to be a highly advanced mobile OS is still a bit perplexing. Currently speculation indicates that USB-on-the-go may be activated at a later date via a software patch, but it's unclear when Google plans to issue it.
What Else You Need To Know
- Recently, it was discovered that the Nexus 4 had a dormant 4G LTE chip inside it that could be activated via a simple tweak. However, it has been shown to only work in some parts of Canada.
