Google Play gets updated with full Google+ integration
Droid Life

Google has finally updated the Google Play Store with full Google+ integration, so from now on, users who wish to post reviews will need to do so with their actual Google+ accounts where their full names along with their profile photos can be clearly seen. This is seen as a move to reduce the amount of spam or fake reviews that seem to be posted on Play Store app pages regularly, as well as to help developers reach out to customers--i.e. those that have downloaded their apps--if they have any issues as mentioned in their own specific app reviews.

What Else You Need To Know

  • At the moment, the Google+ profile integration still hasn't been rolled out completely; some user reviews are authored by "A Google User" instead of whoever wrote them based on their Google+ profile.
