Google's Keep Note-Taking App Now Live (Again)
Android Community

Google's note-taking app Google Keep went live for about half an hour on St. Patrick's Day before Google took it down. Now Google has officially announced the app, complete with a video detailing how it works. Google Keep, a free utility that allows users to type out quick notes to be saved in Google Drive, can be accessed online or using an app available on Google Play. The native app can be downloaded only on devices running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

What Else You Need To Know

  • Google Keep allows users to jot ideas, record voice memos and include checklists and photos but is not yet as full-featured as Wunderlist or Evernote and is not yet integrated with task-tracking service Google Tasks.
  • The app syncs your content via Google Drive (Google's cloud storage service) so users can access your notes across multiple devices.
  • Google has not announced an iOS version of the app.
