Tech Radar

Hewlett-Packard has introduced at IFA 2012 in Berlin its Windows 8-running Envy X2, an 11.6-inch tablet that transforms to a solid notebook when the keyboard is connected via a magnetic latch. The device has an aluminum build quality, a 400-nit, IPS 1,366 x 768 resolution display that enables ultrawide viewing angles, and is powered by Intel's "Clover Trail" Atom Z2760 chipset that will allow a full Windows 8 experience. Despite its high-end features, the device is thin at 8.5 mm and light at 1.5 pounds (excluding the dock). It will be available in the UK starting at £799 ($1,262) in October. The device will be available in the U.S. in time for the holiday season.
