HTC launches budget-friendly Desire X with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

HTC has finally pulled the wraps off its very first budget-friendly Android-powered smartphone, the HTC Desire X. This model comes with one of Qualcomm's lower-end Snapdragon S4 CPUs clocked at 1GHz and runs a default installation Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It boasts a 4-inch touchscreen display, 5MP camera, 4GB of onboard storage and Beats audio integration. Each unit also comes with 25GB of free online storage space courtesy of Dropbox. It will be available in certain countries in Europe and Asia beginning next month.
