If you can excuse the unimaginative name, the HTC One X+ is a well-deserved refresh to HTC's current flagship Android smartphone. It uses the exact same design as the original--that is to say, it looks identical--yet sports a faster processor, an improved user interface, and a bigger battery. It features Jelly Bean, the latest version of Google's Android software, a 1.7GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, HTC's Sense 4+ UI overlay, and a 2,100 mAh battery that offers 6 extra hours of talk time according to press release. It's set to become available first in Europe and North Asia this October and then in South Asia in November.
What Else You Need To Know
- Other features of the HTC One X+ include a 4.7-inch 1280x720 touchscreen display, 64GB internal storage, 8MP camera, and 4G LTE.
- The HTC One X+ features red buttons and Beats branding, a clear indication that it comes with Beats audio integration.

I am not too optimistic about this combination being battery-friendly though, as Tegra 3 is one of the least power-efficient SoCs out there, which when combined with an external baseband makes matters worse.- Rajesh Pandey, Techie Buzz
