Huawei Ascend G600 launched for mid-range market with Android 4.0 ICS

Huawei has just launched the Ascend G600 for the mid-range segment of the smartphone market. It comes equipped with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8MP camera, 4.5-inch qHD screen, 4GB of storage, and support for microSD cards. Its default operating system is Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, and it packs NFC as well as a 2,000 mAh battery inside its glossy casing. It is scheduled to arrive in December for $375.

  • The Huawei Ascend G600 was launched alongside two other phones, the Huawei Ascend G330 and Ascend D1 XL Quad, at IFA 2012 in Berlin, Germany.
  • The 4.5-inch screen on the Huawei Ascend G600 is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass.
