Huawei G520 Offers Quad-Core at a Killer Price
Other

Hoping to shed its image of cheap Chinese phone maker, Huawei unveiled a high-end smartphone. The Huawei G520 rocks a 4.5-inch IPS 720p HD display, a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 512MB of Ram, a 5 MP rear camera and a front camera, and Android Jelly Bean operating system. Although it doesn't have the full-HD screen, a bigger RAM, and the 8MP camera found in other super-phones, the G520 is being sold in China at a cool $225 (1,399 yuan) unlocked and contract-free. Huawei has not announced pricing and availability outside China.

The Huawei G520 rocks a 4.5-inch IPS 720p HD display, and a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor under the hood. You’ll also get 512MB of RAM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and a pair of cameras. Pretty decent for the price right? While we wish it had more RAM or an 8 megapixel camera instead of 5, the $225 price point is rather impressive.
