Instagram photos are not showing up in Twitter streams anymore as the popular photo-sharing service completely disabled photo integration with the microblogging service. The move follows Instagram's decision last week to remove Twitter cards, which caused cropped versions of photos to appear on the site. Instagram, which was bought by Facebook in April this year, said the latest offensive was part of a plan to drive more traffic to its own web platform.
What Else You Need To Know
- Originally an app exclusive for Apple mobile devices, Instagram enables users to take a photo, apply a digital filter, and then share the photo to 100 million users of the app, as well as other social networking services.
