The ever-reliable guys over at BGR have just published a report detailing some of the new stuff that will come bundled with Apple's upcoming iOS 6.0.1 software update based on information from an unidentified reliable source. Apparently, the software update is already in carrier testing mode and will bring a bunch of bug fixes to iOS 6-powered devices once it finally gets released some time in the next couple of weeks. It should put and end to the problems with the flickering virtual keyboard as well as the Wi-Fi/data usage issues that are affecting users of the iPhone 5 and a few previous-generation models.
What Else You Need To Know
- Although the iOS 6.0.1 update will reportedly roll out in November, there will be a much longer wait for iOS 6.1, as it is said to be scheduled to a release in 2013.
Other sources
