According to leaked photos from 9to5mac.com, the iPad mini sports a 16.7Whr/4490 mAh battery, which is three times the battery of the iPhone 5 and but only one-third the 42.5Wh huge battery of the iPad 3. The smaller iPad, dubbed the iPad mini, is expected to have a 7.85-inch display, a lower resolution than the iPad 3's highly touted 2048 x 1536 Retina resolution display, and a price tag below the $499 entry-level iPad 3. German electronics retailer Media Markt has the iPad mini in 16 variants and priced the entry -level 8 GB, Wi-Fi only model at EUR249 -- equivalent to $250 without the 19% tax.
