Images of an alleged iPad mini were leaked on the eve of the September 12th Apple event in San Francisco, California. Apple is not expected -- although it's still possible by a long-shot -- to unveil a 7.85-inch and cheaper version of the 9.7-inch iPad on Wednesday. The company's press invite only says "It's almost here," with a shadowed "5" underneath the September 12th date, confirming that the mythical iPhone 5 will finally be introduced. There's something for iPad owners though as Apple will release to the public its newest operating system for iOS devices. iOS 6 would have a new virtual wallet app Passbook, an improved Siri digital assistant, and new apps that would replace YouTube and Google Maps.
