Apple will be releasing this year not one but two follow-ups to the iPhone 5 this year. The Wall Street Journal, citing anonymous sources, reports that the iPhone 5S will begin production in the second quarter, possibly setting it for a summer launch. The same sources said that Apple continues to work with its manufacturing partners in Asia on a less-expensive iPhone that could be launched as soon as the second half of this year. Just like any other "S" upgrade for the iPhone, the iPhone 5S would retain the design of its predecessor but will have a faster processor and improved optics. The low-cost model meanwhile would also have a four-inch screen but will use a casing different from the traditional iPhone.
