Lenovo K900 Flaunts Intel Clover Trail+ Powered K900

Lenovo is making the phablet war interesting, announcing at the CES 2013 the first smartphone using Intel's new Clover Trail+ CPU clocked at an insanely high 2 GHz. Aside from a powerful latest-generation Intel Atom CPU, the Lenovo IdeaPhone K900 features extremely slim design and a massive 5.5-inch 1080p full HD display that provides 440-plus pixels. Not only that, the K900 boasts of a 13MP rear camera with a Sony Exmor BSI sensor and an F1.8 focal length lens for clearer low-light photos, and a 1-MP camera that gives an 88-degree viewing angle, the widest available for a phone's front camera. The Chinese device-maker has not announced pricing and availability of the K900 in the U.S. and Canada.

  • The Lenovo K900 also sports 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, microSD card slot for additional storage, Gorilla Glass 2 layer covering the screen, 6.9-mm side view, weight at just 162 grams by stainless steel alloy and polycarbonate material for its unibody chassis, and the latest Android operating system.
  • Aside from the K900, Lenovo showcased at the CES four lower-end Android handsets, namely the S890, the S720, the A800, and the A690.
