Lenovo is currently working on a newer version of the ThinkPad tablet that was first released last year in order to seriously crush the iPad and the rest of its competition in the worldwide tablet market, if information from a marketing document that was leaked from inside the offices of Lenovo itself is to be believed. And rather than ARM and Android, it will feature an Intel SoC and Microsoft's upcoming Windows 8 operating system instead. Apparently, Lenovo is going to pull out all stops with this soon-to-be-launched offering, which is being referred to in the leaked document as the ThinkPad Tablet 2. Some of its expected features include a dual-core Intel Clover trail-based SoC, 2GB RAM, 64GB storage, and 10.1-inch WXGA touchscreen display.

What Else You Need To Know:

- The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 will be made available with a special ThinkPad keyboard dock.

- With its list of specs, the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 looks set to conquer the enterprise market segment, especially since it will arrive with Windows 8.
