LG Nexus 4 review posted before official launch
Droid Life

The upcoming LG Nexus 4, which has been the subject of numerous leaks during the past week, has now been reviewed in full by tech site Onliner.by before Google even has a chance to officially announce its existence to the world. The guys behind the Belarussian site managed to get their hands on a prototype version of the said device and have been playing with it for about a week or so now, and so far have managed to compare it to the likes of the iPhone and the most recent Google Nexus smartphone, made by Samsung. It has been shown to suffer from plenty of bugs in the software, and while a bit better-performing, the hardware isn't exactly mind-blowing. But none of this comes as a surprise given that the device that was reviewed was merely a prototype.

What Else You Need To Know

  • Google and LG are expected to unveil the Nexus 4, which is based largely on the Optimus G, in an official event scheduled to happen on October 29th.

It’s a prototype. Do I need to say this again? Prototype. Nothing about this phone is final or official except for maybe the processor, display, camera sensor, and RAM. For all we know, the software will be updated, hardware could change, and Google may have surprises up their sleeves for the unveil. - Kellex, Droid-Life
