LG Optimus Vu with LTE coming to US
Other

LG has officially announced its plans to bring an LTE version of Optimus Vu to the US before the end of this quarter. Though it failed to identify which carrier it is working with to release the LG Optimus Vu with LTE in the US, numerous reports have indicated that it is most likely Verizon Wireless. With a 5-inch 4:3 aspect ratio multi-touch color screen, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage, the LG Vu with LTE should give the Samsung Galaxy Note some form of healthy competition. It is expected to arrive some time in September.

What Else You Need To Know

- Evidence of Verizon's involvement in the upcoming release of a 4G LTE-capable LG Vu in the US has been found in leaked photos.

- The non-LTE version of the LG Vu has already sold 500,000 units in South Korea.

You never know how a device launch will go on Verizon, but if all goes well users should be able to purchase this massive smartphone before the end of September.

While I have my reservations about the comfort of such a device it looks to be a decent offering.

Will anyone want it though? The 4:3 screen ratio kills it, making it uncomfortable to hold and making apps look generally weird.
