The LTE variant of RIM's BlackBerry PlayBook tablet is apparently already on its way. This news comes from what looks like an internal memo where details of the upcoming tablet's launch have been revealed. The memo says that this 4G-capable tablet from RIM is going to arrive sooner rather than later, with its official launch date scheduled to happen just one week from today.

What Else You Need To Know:

- The LTE BlackBerry PlayBook will come equipped with a 7-inch screen, an "enhanced" 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 5-megapixel main camera, and PlayBook OS 2.0.

- It will become available first through Bell Canada starting July 31.

- The price for each unit is said to be $550 CAD or about $540 USD.
