Microsoft has just released an official Outlook e-mail app for the Android OS which brings push notifications, Calendar and Contact sync, Exchange ActiveSync, and support for multiple accounts to users of Google-powered mobile devices. This new official app is released just in time to celebrate the fact that Microsoft's Outlook.com e-mail service now has 25 million active users. The Outlook Android app is available for free on Google Play for all devices with Android 2.1 or higher.
What Else You Need To Know
- The Android Outlook app uses a dated user interface that looks more at home in Froyo (Android 2.1) and looks plain terrible on devices running the latest version of Google's Android software.
