Microsoft is getting ready to release a dedicated Android app for SkyDrive, its online cloud storage service, as part of its recently unveiled major updates. As soon as Microsoft releases the official SkyDrive for Android app on Google Play, Android users will be able to download it and access their SkyDrive to do a myriad of stuff, including uploading and sharing photos and files along with other types of data. Microsoft hasn't specified an exact date of release for SkyDrive for Android, but it should become available in the next few weeks.
What Else You Need To Know:
- Microsoft recently unveiled changes to its SkyDrive online cloud storage service which include a refresh of the design for desktop and tablet users and speedier performance for those on Windows and Mac OS.
