Motorola Droid RAZR HD LTE to get Jelly Bean upgrade from Rogers in late December
Mobile Syrup

Rogers recently updated their online "OS Upgrades" schedule to let users of the Motorola RAZR HD LTE know that a "tentative" Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade for their handsets is now on track for "Late December." There's no telling exactly what might happen between then and now, but this appears to be a clear indication that Motorola is already preparing its update engines for a widespread software rollout when the time comes. This should make it easy for users of Android 4.0 ICS-powered phones to get their fix of the latest version of Google's Android software.

What Else You Need To Know

  • The Motorola Droid RAZR LTE smartphone was released through Rogers back in October with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
  • A 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD screen, a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, and 4G LTE connectivity are among the Droid RAZR HD LTE's main features.
