As Mozilla continues to build up its very own mobile operating system to compete with the likes of Google, Apple, and Microsoft in the smartphone market, it has decided to enter a partnership with ZTE to bring its first devices to market by early 2013. The guys over at Geek.com got their hands on a Mozilla OS developer phone and it reportedly features a 1.5GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, microUSB connectivity, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 480x800 pixel resolution touchscreen display. Mozilla decided not to share any other information about the device.

- In a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, ZTE Executive VP He Shiyou confirmed that his company will be releasing phones powered by Mozilla's HTML 5-based OS in early 2013.
