A lot of rumors have been floating around regarding a new Apple iPad Mini but the latest really takes the cake. Based on schematics and third-party case renderings for the iPad Mini, obtained by Think iOS, the widely-rumored Apple tablet will supposedly be just 7.4 mm thin. This waist line makes it almost as slim as the 7.3 mm iPod Touch.
Should this rumor pan out, the iPad Mini which could launch this Fall for $249 will definitely be bad news not only for the recently launched Google Nexus 7 tablet but for the other tablets in the 7-inch category as well.

If launched, the iPad Mini could be a real threat to several Android tablets available in the market today. It could also threaten the sales of Google Nexus 7, which is by far the most powerful 7-inch Android tablet that comes for just $200.- Shahbaaz, Technology Nerd
