Nexus 7 and iPad face off on tablet abuse test
Other

Independent warranty provider SquareTrade put the Nexus 7 and the iPad through a series of tests to look at the durability of the two tablets. After all tests, both tablets suffered scuffs and dings but the iPad suffered a cracked screen and lost all audio functionality. The Nexus 7 however survived with its display intact and was still working well.

What You Need To Know:

- The tests include dropping them from chest height, then from table top height, both onto concrete, and finally submerging them in water.

- Critics question the build quality of the Nexus 7 because of its cheaper price.
