Nexus 7 Supply Fails to Meet Demand
TechnoBuffalo

Nexus 7, the Android tablet co-developed by Google and Asus, was sold out at nearly all retailers a few weeks after launch. The initial surge prompted Google to temporary halt sales of the $249 16 GB model, which was being sold together with the $199 entry-level 8 GB model.

Data from the Chitika ad network indicate that growth of the Nexus 7 market has slowed down. Supply issues, according to Chitka's analysis, have prevented the Nexus 7 from surpassing the Amazon Kindle Fire in Web traffic rankings.

What Else You Need To Know:

- Google Play is selling a Nexus 7 case for $19.99. The case, which was also co-designed by Asus, has no silicon and is made entirely of TPU.

- The Nexus 7 has received generally positive reviews for its well-tuned mobile OS, connection to Google Play, performance, and budget-friendly price.
