A minor Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean update is now being rolled out gradually to users of the latest Nexus devices from Google as part of an effort to clear a number of software bugs that started appearing recently. The software update, which is only a little over 1MB, should reach destination devices automatically over-the-air (OTA). A full change log is not available yet, but it is expected to fix at least the "missing December" bug for the Nexus 4 smartphone as well as the Nexus 10 tablet.
What Else You Need To Know
- The availability of this same software update for the Google Nexus 7 and other Nexus devices is expected to follow shortly.

If this tiny update doesn’t fix all of the issues plaguing these devices, hopefully the company uses similar speed to roll out another bug fix update for the Nexus 4, Nexus 10, and Nexus 7, all of which are experiencing other issues with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.- Adam Mills, GottaBeMobile
