In a response to an inquiry made through Nokia Careline, Nokia representatives have confirmed that Canadian carrier-sold Symbian devices will not receive a software update to Belle any time soon. Apparently, Nokia has made the decision to exclude all carrier-exclusive variants of its latest Symbian-powered devices from the currently available Belle software update. The affected models include the Fido Nokia C6, Wind Mobile Nokia C7, and Rogers Nokia N8, to name a few. According to Nokia, the main reason for the lack of updates is lack of customer demand.
